The existing texture on these walls was a very rough, rolled on texture making it very difficult and time consuming to create this smooth, subtle finish. If the walls had been smoother a greater amount of flair could have been This homeowner wanted which was barely noticeable in the evenings but ECCFF was still able to use subtle shifts in temperature to give the walls more flair than just one color with a darker color over it. This was over a very rough rolled on texture, so rough I had to replace my rags three times as often. If the texture was smoother I would have been free to create some more stunning movements in the subtle layers of warm and cool glazes.
